Scope and Purpose:
DSL Environmental Handbook is a collection of practice guides written by specialists from across the environmental spectrum. The guides are intended to provide a user-friendly introduction to a wide range of environmental topics. The guides all concentrate on providing practical information about the ‘law in action’ as opposed to the ‘law in books’. The guides explain technical as well as legal issues. DSL Environmental Handbook includes tables providing details of the status of district and regional plans.
The guides have been written to enable a reader to either scan the whole document for general information, or to focus on a specific area for information. Each guide has an index to allow ease of access. The online version is fully searchable over all (or a selection of) guides.
