If you do not see the Practice and Procedure Series tab on your Library Menu, then you can access the index via the index button on any Practice and Procedure topic you subscribe to. Rachel Hayward BA, LLM
Rachel works for KPMG Legal in Wellington and is the author for Brookers District Court Procedure.

Rachel Hayward has been a senior associate with Kensington Swan and has considerable experience in general commercial litigation. Her areas of specialist practice include insurance law, in particular professional indemnity litigation, and the preparation and presentation of professional disciplinary cases, with a particular focus on medical professional discipline.

Currently at home with a young family, Rachel also works as a consultant with KPMG Legal, where she is involved in medical disciplinary law, and legal training and recruitment. She is one of the authors of Brookers District Courts Procedure, and completed a Masters of Law at Cambridge in 1991.

Pam Andrews BA, LLB
Pam is a Partner at KPMG Legal in Wellington.

Pam specialises in commercial litigation, especially in the areas of banking law, insolvency, receivership, liquidation, and schemes of arrangements.
Pam has acted for the receivers and liquidators of companies in a range of industries, including the meat industry, construction companies, major retail chains, airline companies, finance companies, and sharebrokers.

Pam’s practice also includes general commercial and property litigation; estate, trusts and superannuation litigation; and competition law and insurance litigation, in particular professional indemnity litigation and applications to the High Court for approval of Schemes of Arrangement following domestication of previously foreign-owned insurance companies and mergers/acquisitions.

One of Pam’s major practice areas is in professional regulation, in particular the preparation and presentation of professional disciplinary hearings.

Pam has presented a series of seminars for the New Zealand Law Society on banking law, and for the Wellington District Law Society on the conduct of civil litigation. She is a regular faculty member at the New Zealand Law Society annual Litigation Skills Course.
